I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind messages of condolence after the loss of my darling wife Carol. It was unexpected and a terrible shock.

 

Some major work has been done on the bay. The electricity has been upgraded including a new power supply coming into FASE 1. Substantial work has been done to provide a better earth system. The total cost was in excess of Euros 4,500.

 

We have a new water supply to block 1, and 2 tees off have been installed in front of blocks 5 and 6 to make future work, when needed, easier. The cost of this work was Euros 7,500.

 

General maintenance work has been carried out where necessary. The gardens are looking lovely, thanks to Colin and Jacquie. We have also employed a new maintenance man/gardener, Steve, who is keen to learn about gardening and is taking pride in keeping the Bay looking good.

 

There will be NO AGM this year. All AGMs have been postponed by the government. I will be continuing as your President and I intend to stand again when eventually we are allowed to have an AGM.

 

There are still strict rules in place here because of covid. I know that these rules and the rules in your own countries and the ever rising cost of air fares are preventing many of you from coming out here but I look forward to seeing you eventually.

Estimados propietarios

 

Me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para agradecerles sus amables mensajes de condolencia por la pérdida de mi querida esposa Carol. Fue inesperado y terrible shock.

 

Se han realizado trabajos importantes en la comunidad. La electricidad se ha actualizado, incluida una nueva fuente de alimentación que entra en la FASE 1. Se ha realizado un trabajo sustancial para proporcionar una mejor protección de la toma de tierra. El coste total superó los 4.500 euros. Tenemos un nuevo suministro de agua para el bloque 1 y se han instalado 2 llaves de paso frente a los bloques 5 y 6 para facilitar el trabajo futuro, cuando sea necesario. El coste de esta obra fue de 7.500 euros.

 

Se han realizado trabajos de mantenimiento general cuando ha sido necesario. Los jardines se ven encantadores, gracias a Colin y Jacquie. También hemos contratado a un nuevo jardinero / encargado de mantenimiento, Steve, que está interesado en aprender sobre jardinería y se enorgullece de mantener la comunidad en buen estado.

 

NO habrá Junta general este año. Todas las juntas han sido pospuestas por el gobierno. Continuaré como Presidente y tengo la intención de presentarme nuevamente cuando finalmente y se nos permita tener una junta general.

 

Todavía existen reglas estrictas aquí debido a covid. Sé que estas reglas y las reglas en sus propios países y el costo cada vez mayor de las tarifas aéreas están impidiendo que muchos de ustedes vengan aquí, pero espero poder veros eventualmente.
